My father bought this for me, along with an 8GB Ipod Nano for Christmas this year. Even my friends told me that the FM transmitter would suck, i played around with it for awhile, found a clear station that worked just fine. Only time it got a little fuzzy was when i parked at work under a metal awning. If you get a fuzzy station, find a new one. Thats all there is to it. I love it! Keep in mind, I live in Las Vegas, we have ALOT of radio stations, so that fact that I have had little/no issue with this product may say something about whether or not the amount of radio stations in an area effects the products functionality.

This is the only FM transmitter for the iPhone. The plug that attaches to the iPhone doesn’t even stay in the iPhone.

This is hands down the WORST iPod FM transmitter I’ve tried to date. I’ve given many a run for their money, and of all of this, this has the worst sound quality. Constant static, even on channels that come in clear through other transmitters. The ClearScan feature seems to arbitrarily pick channels, because none of the ones it’s chosen came in clear.
I took mine back after three days.

I have had constant trouble finding a station that this weak transmitter could even play music. My friend had a different transmitter in his car about 5ft from me and I could catch his on a station that mine wouldn’t even break the static on… so unless you live way out in the countryside don’t buy this. Also the auto tuner will find the strongest station half the time… cool idea IF it worked.
